Frequently Asked Questions
The live leaderboard shows the latest available top-200 rankings from the Wordscapes Leaderboard. The data is cached and refreshed periodically, so it should be read as the latest available snapshot rather than second-by-second live data.
The Pace Analyzer uses the current This Month leaderboard score directly. It converts that score into Brilliance per day, subtracts the best sustainable Wildlife Brilliance allowance available in the Wildlife data, then estimates how many hours per day would be required at a fast benchmark pace.
No. Plausible, High activity, Extreme pace, and Outlier are pace estimates only. They are based on the required play time needed to explain a monthly score, not on private PeopleFun diagnostics or direct proof of cheating.
Unverified new marks a player with no prior history in our month-end snapshots whose entry cannot be cross-checked yet: a first sync can carry months of play at once, so no pace rating is possible. Implausible marks an unverified entry whose cumulative total is higher than any score ever recorded in our archives. Both are informational badges, not accusations, and flagged entries are excluded from gain analysis until a later snapshot confirms them.
Required h/day is calculated from Net Brilliance per day divided by a fast benchmark of 150 levels per hour multiplied by the estimated average Brilliance per level. The benchmark is intentionally generous so that high labels are reserved for unusually demanding pace estimates.
The Monthly Archive compares all-time leaderboard snapshots captured at month end. It is designed to show how cumulative top-200 scores change from one month to the next, including the current all-time snapshot when available.
The All-Time leaderboard ranks the top 200 players by cumulative Brilliance. When a month-end baseline exists, the page can also show Last Month Score, Current Score, Score Gained, and Rank Δ. Pace labels are intentionally kept in the Pace Analyzer instead of the All-Time table.
Wordscapes tournaments use temporary in-game pools and tournament-star scoring. The leaderboard data available here does not expose those private tournament pools, so Weekend and Weekday tabs were removed to avoid presenting global leaderboard gains as official tournament results.
World rankings show the global top-200 leaderboard. Region rankings show the top-200 leaderboard for the selected regional scope exposed by the leaderboard data. A player can appear differently in World and Region views depending on that scope.
