Wordscapes Goal Planner & Rotation Calculator

Plan Your Wordscapes Goal & Wildlife Rotation

Pick a goal, tick the Wildlife pets you own, and press Calculate. The plan is built around how Wordscapes actually works: one activity slot, the daily heart gem scale with its Daily Booster, and reward banking before events.

1. Choose your goal

2. Your Wildlife collection

Tick every pet you own and set its level with the L1, L2... dropdown: the plan picks your best pets from this list. Your selection is saved on this device and shared with the other calculators on this site, so picks made in the Animal Selector already show up here.

How this Wordscapes Goal Planner works

Enter the amount you want to gain, choose simple or advanced planning, and select the Wildlife animals you own. The calculator estimates puzzles for brilliance, applies the daily heart gem reducing scale for hearts, and uses each animal's activity, sleep, and cycle data for Wildlife rewards such as stars, bees, binoculars, and cocoons.

What makes it realistic is the model behind it: Wordscapes only has one Wildlife activity slot, so the planner thinks in rotations rather than in stacked theoretical output. It tells you which pet to run while you play, which long-activity pet to start right before bed, and how to bank finished-but-uncollected rewards across several pets before an event. The estimates remain planning estimates, most useful for comparing strategies: puzzle play, Wildlife rotation, or a combined plan.

Heart gem daily tiers and the Daily Booster

Heart gems from puzzles follow a daily reducing scale: the first puzzles of the day pay 10 hearts each, then the rate steps down to 8, 5, 3, and finally 1 heart per puzzle, resetting at midnight. Community testing suggests the first tier lasts 9 puzzles in Wordscapes rather than 10, so the planner lets you pick either value. The evening Daily Booster (it unlocks around 7 PM Central, with extra bonus tiers behind short videos) adds gems on top of the scale; because reported booster values vary, the planner keeps it fully configurable: set the total bonus gems and the number of puzzles they cover, and the live gauge shows exactly what your next puzzle pays.

Banking Wildlife rewards before an event

When a pet finishes its activity you do not have to collect right away: swap to another pet and the finished reward stays banked on that animal. Stacked across your collection, one uncollected activity per pet, this is the strongest way to open a tournament, portrait event, or butterfly event. Give the planner the hours you have left and it computes the best set of pets to run back to back, then reminds you of the collection rules: complete one puzzle after the tournament starts before collecting banked stars, collect binoculars only during an active portrait event (Mt. Fortune excluded), and collect cocoons while the butterfly event is running.

Hatching eggs while you grind a goal?

Keep your best pet for the goal in the Activity slot before you hatch: when a different animal levels up, pressing Swap on the level-up screen pays out the active pet's reward instantly, and banked rewards are unaffected. For event rewards, time it like a banked collection: during the tournament for stars, during the live event for binoculars and cocoons. The full egg sequence, the animals inside each colored egg, and the twelve Limited pets are covered in the dedicated Wordscapes egg rotation and Level-Up Swap planner.

Wordscapes Goal Planner FAQ

How does the Wordscapes Goal Planner work?

The calculator compares your target with puzzle-based estimates and your Wildlife collection, using a realistic one-activity-slot model. Brilliance uses a 44-per-puzzle estimate, stars use tournament value plus pre-event banking, hearts use the daily reducing scale with an optional Daily Booster, and Wildlife rewards use each animal's activity, sleep, and cycle data.

Can the calculator use my Wildlife collection?

Yes. Animals selected in compatible tools on the site can appear here automatically, so players do not need to enter the same collection again.

What is the heart gem daily reducing scale in Wordscapes?

Heart gems from puzzles follow a daily reducing scale: roughly the first 9 to 10 puzzles pay 10 hearts each, the next 20 pay 8, the next 30 pay 5, the next 40 pay 3, and every puzzle after that pays 1. The scale resets at midnight, so the first puzzles of the day are worth the most. The planner lets you set the first tier to 9 puzzles (a community-reported Wordscapes quirk) or 10.

What is the Wordscapes Daily Booster for heart gems?

The Daily Booster is a limited-time bonus that unlocks in the evening (around 7 PM Central) and adds extra heart gems on top of the normal reducing scale for a set number of puzzles, with more bonus unlocked by watching short videos. Reported values vary, so the planner keeps the booster configurable: you set the total bonus gems and how many puzzles they cover.

How does banking Wildlife pet rewards work?

When a pet finishes its activity, you can leave the reward uncollected and swap to another pet: the finished reward stays banked on that animal. Before a tournament, portrait event, or butterfly event, the planner estimates how many rewards you can bank in the hours you have left, one activity per pet. On tournament day, complete one puzzle after the tournament starts before collecting banked stars; binoculars and cocoons should be collected while their event is active, and portrait collection excludes Mt. Fortune.

What is the difference between Simple and Advanced calculator?

Simple calculator asks for the needed amount and uses background estimates: 44 brilliance per puzzle, daily heart tiers, and Wildlife cycle data for animal rewards. Advanced calculator lets players customize current amount, target amount, puzzle pace, available play time, and planning mode. Heart goals expose the reducing scale and Daily Booster settings in both views.

Are the results guaranteed?

No. The results are planning estimates and some values, like the Daily Booster, are community-reported and configurable. Actual results can vary depending on puzzle rewards, event availability, Wildlife cooldowns, daily heart tiers, bonus words, and whether the player uses coins to rush cycles.

Which goals can I calculate?

The planner supports brilliance, tournament stars, hearts, bees, binoculars for portrait events, and cocoons for butterfly events, each with rotation tips and, for event rewards, a pre-event banking plan.

Does the Wordscapes Goal Planner work on mobile?

Yes. The calculator is designed with a mobile-first layout, large form fields, and stacked result cards for smaller screens.
